7th Ave Beautifully Sings Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”

Certain songs are classics, and you can listen to over and over again. I think it’s safe to say that on that list of classics, most people also have Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” So many popular groups and singers have attempted their rendition of this song—some have failed, but others have been able to recreate its magic in their way. A group that fits the latter is 7th Ave.

7th Ave includes singers Kelley Jakle, Chris Rupp, Tristin Rupp, and Adam Bastien and is a well-known band that has emerged in recent years on the top for some of their stellar work. If you remember, we shared their version of Elvis’ “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You,” as well.

If you thought that the band created an amazing rendition of the Elvis song, then you’re in for a treat with the video shared below. 7th Ave attempted their version of Leonard’s “Hallelujah” and didn’t disappoint. The different voices come together to bring forward a very balanced singing performance. It almost sounds like a choir when the vocals are merged, and it is fantastic.

What really adds to this act is the dance routine that the group has come up with for the song. Now, you might think that the dancers are the singers themselves, but they’re not; Brad Garner and Shannon Mockli dance beautifully in sync to the music as 7th Ave gives you a song that is definite to give you goosebumps.

Watch the performance below and let us know what you think in the comments! If you enjoyed it as much as we did, then don’t forget to like and share this post with family and friends!
