Community Choir Performs Mesmerizing Cover Of Toto’s “Africa”

There are many noble professions in this world. We can give sincere thanks to service men and women who put their lives in danger every single day in order to protect us, we can also thank doctors, nurses and scientists for breakthroughs in health care and medicine, and we can surely give thanks to teachers, people of the church and other selfless individuals who aim to help others simply because they care.

But we can also give a gracious amount of thanks to those who engage in the arts. Without music, paintings, poems, books and photographs, we wouldn’t be as inspired as many of us are today. A great novel or a wonderful bout of song lyrics has the power to move us into a place unimaginable. And the song that you’re going to hear in the video below will do just that.

In it, you’ll see members of the LA-based, Angel City Chorale, a non-profit community choir that aims to get donations for their musical ability, sing the very famous song by Toto, entitled “Africa”. And they’ve managed to create something outstanding with their passion and creativity.

The song starts off with all of the members rubbing their hands together, which creates the sound of rain. As it gets louder, a few members then begin to snap their fingers, which mimics the sound of hard rain falling on a roof. Accompanying the sounds, is a backdrop of light that looks like lightning. Then, the choir begins to sing and it is nothing short of absolutely fantastic!

Watch the video below to view this immensely talented group of people exuding their love for the arts. It will surely give you shivers up your spine. And if you’ve adored it, be sure to share it with your family and friends.
