12-Year-Old Grace Sings Classic Elvis Rendition

Oh, how I wish I could sing! As much as I believe that I’m a great bathroom singer, there is no way that I can actually belt out a tune in perfect pitch and form anywhere else—if there was any way that I was going to do that, I would really have to hone my skills. But, the same can’t be said about 12-year-old Grace VanderWaal.

Grace won “America’s Got Talent” in September 2016, and at just the young age of 12, she took over the world and music-lovers all around the world, with her breathtaking voice. She had started showcasing her talent on her personal Youtube channel before she landed a spot on the popular TV show.

It was during her time on the show that tough critic Simon Cowell even said that Grace is the next Taylor Swift—now that’s a compliment to remember for the ages! After winning the show, the little girl has gone on to sign a record deal with Columbia Records. It’s safe to say that she’s doing big things in life at such a young age!

Inspite of winning the show and becoming a celebrity, Grace is still true to what she’s always done, and that is making Youtube videos of her singing with her ukelele. Although new videos surface all the time, the one shared in this post is of last summer when she beautifully covered Elvis Presley’s ‘I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.’

Her rendition has given listeners goosebumps and it is nothing short of a brilliant performance! From her covers on Youtube, all the way to her performances on AGT and beyond, Grace has truly proven that she’s come to the music industry to stay!
