Okay, I know how important and symbolic the wedding ceremony is but I know that I’m not alone in saying that the real fun begins at the reception.
Yes, the reception still has its fair share of traditions to be followed but it’s the part of the wedding when everyone finally gets to cut loose. To put it another way, it’s the first time that the bride and groom can party as a married couple with all of their family and friends. Accordingly, they better make it count!
You can almost always be assured that there will be more than enough food and drinks, a gigantic cake, and speeches written with the sole purpose of revealing embarrassing secrets about the bride and groom.
The reception is also a great opportunity for the bride and groom to show off some of their talents. Such was the case for Roisin, who happened to be quite skilled in the art of Irish step dancing. Roisin and her bridesmaids dressed up in some flashy green dresses and black tights, and gave guests an absolute incredible performance. They couldn’t take their eyes off of their fancy footwork! But then all of a sudden, the music changed and someone else stepped onto the dance floor… it was her new husband, James!
You see, while family and friends have known Roisin to be a dancer, they never thought that James had any moves. So when he came along and started busting out some impressive footwork of his own, the crowd went nuts!
