It’s safe to say that there are talented people all around. From those who decide to be street-performers to people who compete in talent shows (and even those who don’t), are all oozing with talent and they deserve a spotlight to get the opportunity they deserve! When these people get a valid spotlight, they often do wonders and eventually, their ability takes them to new heights—this includes stardom and fame.
An example of a celebrity who did start off performing in small concerts in his hometown and then went on to win a song competition is Andrea Bocelli. The singer always had a passion for singing but to make money, he even played piano in the evenings at local bars. He did all that it took to be successful, and it paid off.
Today, Andrea is one of the most well-known singers in the industry and has so many hit solo songs under his belt. He not only sings originals but is known to put impressive twists on others’ songs as well. I think Andrea’s renditions have to be one of my favorite ones!
One such rendition is ‘Ave Maria.’ This song, composed by Franz Schubert, is an old classic and a fan favorite. People try to sing it all the time, and to be honest, there are a lot of hits and misses; Andrea’s version of this composition, though, is a hit. It has the capacity of bringing an audience to tears. It’s best to just close your eyes and take in the music and his voice. You will not be disappointed, that’s for sure!
