We all know the saying “you can’t judge a book by its cover.” It’s a philosophy that has proven true time and time again, and although most of us try our very best to follow it, the sad truth is that we still often catch ourselves passing judgment on people based on their appearances.
If you saw a group of big, leather-clad bikers, what would you think? A lot of people would assume the worst and if I have to be completely honest with myself, I would probably do the same. But meet the Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), a group of bikers who may look intimidating but they have hearts of gold. These bikers go out of their way to help the victims of child abuse by protecting them and helping them get their confidence back.
The abused children have been through some of the worst things imaginable, including sexual and physical abuse. In the video below, we see how these leather-clad tough bikers do everything they can to give these kids their lives back. BACA members will do everything from escorting these children to and from school and therapy, and accompanying them on their court dates and letting them know that they have people on their side. In this video, Crime Watch Daily meets with the BACA crew in Los Angeles as they work with a new member.
