Penny, Leonard, and Sheldon are not the only main characters on the show. Howard Wolowitz and Raj Koothrappali are featured heavily on the show, as Leonard and Sheldon’s best friend. Later, we also meet Bernadette, Howard’s love interest, Amy, Sheldon’s eventual girlfriend, and even a few of Raj’s girlfriends and dates show up. Early in the show, Raj is unable to actually speak to women, so he tends to struggle with the ladies.
4. Check Out Penny’s Refrigerator
The entire cast of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ are friends on the show, but they are also famously friends behind the scenes and off the set. There’s evidence of that on the refrigerator in Penny’s apartment. There are pictures of Kaley Cuoco, the actress who plays Penny, hanging out with the other cast members.
5. Leonard And Penny Are Opposites In Lots Of Ways
It’s no secret that Leonard and Penny are an ‘opposites attract’ kind of couple. He’s shy and nerdy while she is outgoing and beautiful. But, what you may not have noticed are their glasses or lack thereof. Leonard is actually the only male character who wears glasses, and Penny is the only female character who doesn’t.
6. We Still Don’t Know Penny’s Full Name
Spoiler Alert: later in the show, Penny and Leonard are married, so she becomes Penny Hofstadter. But before that, he full name is never revealed to viewers.
