Let’s admit it, for those who are married, your wedding day is the biggest day of your life, right? What other time can be better than the one when you get to say your vows to the love of your life and finally embark on your journey of “forever.” Sounds pretty perfect to me. But, there’s something not-so-perfect about marriage for the little kid in the video shared below. Check it out to believe it!
One dad casually asks his 4-year-old son if he’s going to be the protecting type when he’s married. The little boy is quick to answer with a, “I’m not going to be married at all! I don’t want to be married. Are you kidding?” This is when dad knows that things are about to get funnier because he continues recording and pressing the matter.
After hearing his son’s response, dad says, “But I thought you wanted to be a dad.” The little boy, in between bites of his pizza, says that he still wants to be a dad, but he doesn’t need a mom for his kids because he already has a mom. Don’t kids just make everything so simple? I love how their trains of thought exist!
He also says that he’s scared of getting married because he doesn’t want to kiss anyone. Now if these responses aren’t innocent and cute, then I don’t know what else is because his reasoning is hilarious and comes from such a place of unknowing. One day he will, but until then… this 4-year-old doesn’t want to get married, he doesn’t want to kiss anyone, and he hates spit! Now, how about this for a dinner conversation? Good thing dad hit record. I hope they play this at his wedding one day!
I don’t really blame the kid for being so traumatized over the thought of getting married, though. When you’re younger, all you’re thinking about is not wanting to nap, eating as much chocolate and candy as humanly possible, and jumping around and playing all day. Who, in their right 4-year-old mind, would want to think of marriage, spit, and something that scares them entirely?! I know I wouldn’t!
