Animals deserve just as much love and care as humans. They are vulnerable beings that sometimes aren’t familiar with their surroundings and the people who are around them. They are natural to trust people but as unfortunate as it sounds, there are people out there who will abuse and hold captive, some poor animals. One such story is of the abused bull name Bandit.
Bandit has lived his whole life on a chain and doesn’t know what freedom is at all. But he is lucky to have come across Gut Aiderbichl, an animal refuge with helpful sanctuary workers to look after animals like Bandit. The man that rescues the bull in this video is Christian.
When Christian first heard about the bull’s captivity, he knew that he had to take immediate action. The man goes to visit the bull in his stable and starts to gently pet him to ensure Bandit that he is not trying to harm him in any way. At first, Bandit is a bit resistant, which is evident given the state of the animal, but then watch as he falls to the ground and gives in—he recognizes Christian as someone who is here to help him.
Christian then proceeds to remove the shackles from Bandit’s feet, and you can see that the bull is ecstatic! He is joyfully moving around. It’s so heartwarming to see the bull finally experience freedom.
