Man Quickly And Easily Removes Dents From Car With Boiling Water And Plunger

Ever been in a fender bender in which collision impact has left your car with a nasty dent? If you’re a driver or own a car, surely you’ve encountered a situation where you’ve lightly hit another moving vehicle. I know it happens to the best of us, and although we always try our very best to be cautious on the road, you never know who’s going to come and hit you from behind or the side.

When you do see a noticeable dent in your car, the first thing that probably comes to mind is that you should be taking it to the body shop for an immediate repair. Although that’s an acceptable solution, there’s another trick you can try right at home. This DIY project will not only save you money, but you’ll also realize how simple it is to remove a dent!

Yep, that’s what I said! It’s not as difficult as you imagined to removed a minor dent from your vehicle. The best part? It only costs pennies. You don’t have to shell out big bucks for parts and labor. No siree. With a little elbow grease and patience you smooth out those dents in no time.

In episode of Discovery Channels’ ‘Daily Planet,’ a man showed the world that all you need are two things to get to work and ensure that dent in your car is gone in no time. Here are the two items you’ll need: a common sink plunger (a flat plunger) and boiling hot water.

The method is super simple and not time-consuming at all. Simply bring a large pot of water to a boil and take it outside to where your car is parked. Pour the boiling water over the dent and it’s surrounding area. Take your time as you want to make sure that the dent gets heated up and becomes malleable. Then take the flat plunger to the dent to suction the hollowness out. It’s literally THAT easy! Depending where the dent is, you may want to crawl underneath the car and use your hand to push it out once it’s warmed up.

But we don’t want you to take our word for it. Watch the video below and tell us what you think? If you found this quick and easy tutorial handy, then don’t forget to share it with family and friends!
