Color Guard Parades At Football Game When 3-Year-Old Steals The Show

Color guard performances are always important and showcase a sense of pride. We’re sure that there’s no better feeling than carrying your national/institutional flag, loud and proud, while surrounded by a group of supporters. In addition to that, we think that there’s definitely no better feeling than seeing a 3-year-old so passionately mimic the performance of the color guards happening right in front of him.

This video shows a group of students representing their school at their last football game, and 3-year-old Maximus simply wanted to follow suit.

News has it that he was so fond of the group and their dancing that he attended all their practices leading up to the big performance. Not only did the performers welcome him to their practices, they helped him learn the routine, and let him perform the final dance with them!

Maximus even carried his own flag as he moved in sync with the color guards—only difference, he was cheerleading from the sidelines and perhaps even stealing the attention. Keep a lookout for how one woman even turns around and is all smiles while watching Maximus put on his own show!

The efforts that this 3-year-old showed in learning the dance from start to finish really goes to prove that maybe the upcoming generation is more than just iPads, Netflix, and other technology. If parents continue to feed their children’s interests, then it can really be a fulfilling experience for both the parents and the child.

Maximus’ interest in wanting to participate in the performance with the color guards definitely makes him a hero since it’s not everyday that you get to see such a young supporter fully involved in supporting his local high school and its football team. Actually, come to think about it, you usually see young kids run from the idea of school and shy away from large crowds! Guess Maximus is setting a trend that may just go viral (if it hasn’t already)!
