Getting a new pet is always an emotional experience, no matter the circumstances. You could go to a pet store, you could adopt an animal from the local shelter, or even experience your current pet having babies. However you attain your new friend, it is a moment that is infinitely special and should be celebrated accordingly. Why? Because animals have the amazing ability to make us feel loved, appreciated and wonderful. And if you’re a dog lover, you are absolutely going to love this story.
A non-profit organization called Tracey’s Dogs is a rescue shelter just outside of San Antonio in Texas and its aim is to save as many dogs as possible from kill shelters, in order to find them a loving forever home. They do this by collecting dogs once a month from the various shelters, placing their pictures online and having people all over the U.S adopt them. Then, the dogs are transported to a location so that the new parents can be introduced to the new addition to their family. It’s a joyous occasion that luckily has been caught on camera for us to see.
The video alone is an emotional rollercoaster, which will lead you to wonder how intense it must be for the new adoptive parents of these lovely dogs! Needless to say, happy tears are shed all-around at the event in the video below, and it is definitely something that everyone should see (and even support).
