This Piano Is Worth $3.22 Million And It’s Not Made Of Your Average Wood And Sugar Pine

We all fancy a little bit of luxury in life, right? There’s nothing wrong with splurging a little bit here and there, and going on that odd shopping spree for the things you like most—shoes, clothes, even food!? I know that even a lot of people who collect certain things are fond of splurging on collectibles to complete their collection. Nothing wrong with that! But how do you feel about buying a musical instrument, a piano to be more specific, for $3.22 million?

Before you jump to conclusions, let me give you some background information on this piano. Goldfinch, a luxury piano company, made the crystal piano in collaboration with world-famous, British artist, Lauren Baker; Lauren specializes in creating intricate pieces using crystals.

Goldfinch has made numerous, luxurious, pianos in the past but this one, in particular, is one that sticks out just because it’s been made with half a million Swarovski crystals and is classified as their most luxurious and prestigious project to date. I can certainly see why.

If you follow the Olympics, then you’ll know that a crystal piano was played at the Beijing Olympic Games at one time. It can’t be confirmed if this was the same piano crafted by Goldfinch and Lauren or if it was another. Nonetheless, the piano costs a whopping amount of money, and I’m not entirely sure how I would feel about investing in one, even if I was a musical instruments fanatic!

The piece though is stunning and deserves to be seen! Watch the clip below and see what it looks like! If you enjoyed this post, then don’t forget to like and share it with family and friends.
