The other day I was stuck in traffic in a very grumpy mood. Nope… inching my way forward in bumper-to-bumper traffic isn’t my idea of fun. What would normally have been a quick 20 minute trip was estimated by Google Maps to now take over an 45 minutes. Totally gross.
So what to do? How do I handle these types of situations without pulling out all my hair and road raging my way to high blood pressure? Well, I took a look at the other drivers on the road and while almost everyone looked about as disgruntled as me, I happened to spot one particularly chipper group. What was their secret? Groovin’ music.
To whoever first had the idea to put radio inside cars: you’re a life saver. Music is pretty much the only way to keep a person sane, even legitimately happy, while stuck in traffic. So when a great tune comes on, it can be hard not to start singing along or dancing. The urge to get your groove on is even greater when you have a great singing or dancing partner in the car.
Such was the case for one father and daughter duo who were stuck inside their truck. The pair were bored stiff until My Boo by Ghost Town DJ’s started playing and then they knew exactly what they needed to do: dance.
