Deaf Groom Gets Emotional When Bride Performs A Song In Sign Language

What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever seen? Maybe it was a grand proposal as you were walking in the park? Or was it a video that you saw online of a perfect date? It could’ve been something that you did, or someone did for you, too! Whatever it was, I’m sure that the video down below will make it to your Top 5 Most Romantic Moments (mental) list.

After two years of dating, couple Liz and Scott were finally going to be married. But, the bride didn’t just want a normal wedding where she walked down the aisle to the traditional “Here Come’s The Bride” song. She wanted to do something special for her soon-to-be husband.

She shared on Love What Matter that, “For every joy, he has brought into my life over the last two years, I wanted to surprise him with my entrance.”

And surprise him she did.

You see, Scott is deaf. And Liz’s surprise to him was no short of beautiful. As she got to the aisle, she suddenly stopped walking as a song came on—”A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri—and she signed the whole song for her husband as he waited at the altar.

Whenever Christina sang the lyrics, “One step closer,” she would take one step closer in the aisle, a step closer to Scott.

Liz also shared that he cried throughout the performance and that he still cries when he looks back at the video! If that ain’t the cutest thing you’ve ever heard, then I don’t know what is!

Once the song ended, she walked the rest of the way, and they shared a loving kiss. After Scott pulled apart, he showed off his future wife so that the audience could clap for her and her performance.

If you’d like to see Liz’s amazing performance, the video is down below!
