We’ve all got a BFF—whether it’s your sibling, parent, someone you met at school, or even someone you met as an adult. Having a best friend is one of the sheer joys in life and we should all thank our lucky stars for that one person that sticks by you, in good times and in bad.
But never mind human best friends, we all know there is one animal in this world that is undeniably a best friend to anyone and everyone… a dog—a cute, adorable, big or small, fat or thin dog that will be by your side no matter what. Because, after all, isn’t that what true friendship is about?
Of course, seeing dogs of any breed, size, or age, is a super happy occasion. Now imagine seeing a pup alongside an equally happy baby. It’s a cuteness overload, that’s for sure. Which is why we’re entirely grateful for this video doing the rounds of a pup who absolutely adores its baby BFF—so much so, that it simply won’t get out of its crib.
In the video, you’ll hear its owner calling for the pup but, to no avail. Then, the little baby laughs hysterically at the pup, while stroking it kindly. It really is just a darling moment. Needless to say, you’ll want to have the sound up for this as the whole ordeal is that much more lovely when you hear the laughter and happiness of everyone involved.
I guess it’s true what they say, a dog really is a man’s best friend.
