5 Easy Ways To Get Rid Of Those Pesky Fruit Flies.

Who has ever had issues with fruit flies? I don’t think there’s anyone I know who DOESN’T have a problem with fruit flies flying all over their kitchen, and specifically hovering over the bananas on the kitchen counter.

These flies, also commonly known as “household pests” are make frequent appearances in, and around, the kitchen because of the sugary foods and fruits that we store. They are mostly attracted to fruits though.

You’ll notice that there will be a large number of fruit flies around a banana that may have been sitting there just a bit too long, and the reason for that is that they are attracted most to rotten fruits/foods. As weird as that may sound, it’s the truth!

One of the easiest ways to avoid having a large group of fruit flies in your kitchen is to constantly wash the fruits that you leave outside—this will ensure that their scent (as they age) isn’t too strong to call all the fruit flies to the counter!

But there are other, proven ways, that will help you get rid of these household pests just as effectively, if not more! And the best thing is these methods are all made of products you can find right in your pantry.

For example, if you bring milk, sugar, and ground black pepper to a boil, and leave it out on your counter, the flies will be attracted to that mixture and drown right into it! But that’s not all—watch all the other methods you can use to be fruit fly-free this upcoming spring and summer seasons.
