8 Irish Dancers Line Up To Step To Ed Sheeran Song

I’ve always been amazed by street performers. Whenever I’ve walked by one, or stood around to enjoy their performances, I always think that it probably takes a lot of nerve to sit in front of thousands of strangers and perform. Actually. When all eyes are on you, it can be pretty intimidating. You feel like you have to perform at your best, not mess up and leave an impression. Conversely, this is also the best thing about street performing! That pit in the bottom of your stomach, the passion behind the dance, the adrenaline behind the performance – it’s all exhilarating!

If you’re not performing, then you’re probably watching. And wow, it’s pretty jaw-dropping. In the video below, I was once again amazed by the people in it! Now the girls in the video aren’t necessarily street performers, but they are performing a synchronized dance on the street, and they are absolutely amazing!

These 8 talented young women line up on the street, in perfect formation, and begin their Irish dancing to the popular Ed Sheeran song that millions around the world have enjoyed. As fans of the singer, I think it’s safe to say that these young women have done complete justice to the song. Note how from beginning to end, they are smiling and totally in sync. They love what they are doing and they do it flawlessly well. Regardless of being shy, nervous or scared, they bring their A-game. It’s a total treat!

Watch in the video how they’re enjoying themselves while they perform their beautiful dance. The group members call themselves the Galway Girls, and interestingly enough they actually caught Ed Sheeran’s attention!

He enjoyed their dance skills so much that they even made it into the original music video for his song, “Galway Girl”.

What do you think about this awesome dance sequence? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

In the meantime, don’t forget to watch the full performance in the video below. And, if you enjoyed it as much as we did, then like and share this post with family and friends!
