Everyone has a habit of downplaying their talents and things that they are good at. It’s not because we don’t believe in ourselves because a lot of us are shy of the attention that comes with showing off a talent. My mom always says that everyone is good at something, but a lot of people tend to hide their skills in front of others, and I can see why.
A similar story applies to the girl in the video below. The person who is responsible for posting the video explains the story: The girl singing took to the piano during an open mic event at her school. She only had the intention of playing the instrument and not singing. She claimed that she “can’t sing.” But, things took a different turn when she got up in front of the crowd.
Seconds into her performance, when the girl sings the first note, the entire room is floored. Why? Well, it’s not that the girl can’t sing but it’s because she is an INCREDIBLE singer! You need to watch the clip to notice how effortlessly she serenades everyone in the room. Girl, so much for saying you can’t sing!
No one knows who this young lady is but it’s clear that people are desperate to find out! People are also saying that industry professionals really want to know how they can contact the singer/pianist so they can work with her! Casting directors want to know who she is so they can potentially bring her on a TV show! I bet this girl didn’t think her open mic performance would take her so far. I hope she can get in touch with these people because she can go a long way!
