I’ve had a few embarrassing moments at the grocery store checkout when it was my turn in line, only to realize that I had forgotten my wallet. Whoops! Regardless, I consider myself very fortunate because sadly, there are those that have “embarrassing” grocery checkout moments because they simply don’t have enough money. It’s so easy to make assumptions about people and judge them but rarely do we truly understand their circumstances. So it’s absolutely wonderful to see that there are people out there who are willing to help those who are down on their luck.
