We’ve all been into fairytales at one point in time or another. We would either be watching them for ourselves, or because the kids wouldn’t let you switch the channel even if the world depended on it. If you’re anything like me, I would almost want to jump right into those fictional worlds and be a part of the story, however that was possible. Everything about these tales was so magical—the setting, the story, the music, and the characters.
The characters were something that always played a huge part in keeping my interest. They were funny, scary, interesting, and the princesses were absolutely beautiful. The number of times I’ve wanted to look like Cinderella, or have my hair like Rapunzel’s, can start to sound silly.
I never ended up having hair like Rapunzel’s, but if there’s someone who can give her a run for her money when it comes to hair, it may just have to be the guinea pigs in the images below. They’re not just any guinea pigs though. The ones in the photos are Abyssinian, Peruvian, Coronet and Silkie guinea pigs, rare and sought-after for their silky, and absolutely beautiful, floor-length hair.
It’s needless to say that these animals may just be classified as some of the prettiest creatures on the planet, given their thick and silky manes, but owners and keepers will tell you that it’s not easy to maintain the hair—the upkeep for these guinea pigs is actually quite difficult.
