Judges Are Bawling When Shy Boy Takes The Stage And Rips Into Queen Classic

I sound amazing when I sing in the shower, and I bet you do too. The acoustics of the bathroom, the falling water from the showerhead, the soundproofing tiles – all these factors make my singing voice sound great. And then I try to sing along in the car or walking down the street, and I remember to stick to my day job.

This is Alex Pirvu, he’s 10-years-old, and fortunately for him, he’s got a brighter future singing than I do. Choosing a song like “The Show Must Go On” by Queen is by no means a beginner’s choice. With a voice like Freddie Mercury’s, anyone who takes on this song risks the daunting task of not quite making the song the way Freddie did. It’s treacherous, but wow, is it ever a powerful song.

And that’s exactly why Alex gravitated towards it. He chose a perilous track that could have led him astray, but he sang it like a pro from the moment he stepped on stage. The judges were floored, one judge dropping her head and crying, not caring one bit about her mascara and makeup smudging, as another judge punches the air and another yells, “Bravo!” Alex clearly hit a chord with everyone, audience included. This boy, who started out reserved and shy, ended up delivering a stellar show – a star performance indeed!
