She Rubs A Banana Peel On Her Skin. After Watching This Trick You’ll Want To Do It Too.

I admit it. I’m not great in the kitchen. Not. At. All. In fact, I have drawers full of all kinds of cool gadgets that are supposed to make my life in the kitchen ‘simple’ or ‘easy’. Most of them were bought late at night, after watching an exciting infomercial that promised to change my life with the most amazing kitchen utensil that only costs $19.99 (Shipping not included!). Without fail, each plastic thingy arrives in the mail and I’m excited to try it out. I always figure the first try won’t turn out as expected – I’m just figuring it out, after all. I’m sure after a few days it will be brilliant. But, after a week, every single one of those ‘amazing’ tools ends up in the kitchen junk drawer (you know you have one), never to been seen or used again.

I’ve eventually come to realize that none of those gadgets stand the test of time because there are already simple kitchen items that will do the job better, without all of the silly bells and whistles. In fact, many of the items you probably have in your own kitchen have multiple uses that can make your life so much easier. Check out these genius kitchen hacks and never look at those simple kitchen items the same way again!

I’ve always been a little jealous of my friends that know how to use chopsticks. As hard as I try, I just can’t get the hang of it. Now I can enjoy my Chinese takeout like a pro. And since it’s summer, I’ll most likely be eating that takeout outside. Usually, the mosquitos would chase me back inside, but now all I need is a banana peel and I’m good to go. No more smelly creams and nasty chemicals!

Everyone will be so impressed as I chop onions (without crying), make genius use of that waffle maker that has been collecting dust, and show off my clever use of egg cartons and chip clips during family game night. I can’t wait to give all of the hacks in this video a try!
