Typically, being bedridden in a hospital isn’t much fun. I mean, the idea of lying around doing absolutely nothing while other people take care of you actually might sound like an ideal relaxing Sunday afternoon, but it gets dreadfully boring really quickly. I know, I know… it’s hard to believe that such a thing is possible but it’s true. If you’re lucky, maybe you have access to a TV but you’ll probably not going to get to watch your favourite shows. The hospital food and ambiance don’t exactly help the situation either. But as they say, being around the right people can make all of the difference in the world.
What do I mean? Well, if you happen to find yourself stuck in a hospital bed and Jared Axen i around, you’re in for one heck of a surprising treat!
You see, Jared is a nurse at Valencia Hospital in California and he’s found a way to use his incredible talents to brighten up everyone’s day. Not only does Jared provide the usual patient care, he connects with them and comforts them by singing beautiful hymns and Frank Sinatra mainstays. Amongst his patients and his peers, he’s become known as “The Singing Nurse” and he’s even been called an “Angel sent from Heaven.” His angelic voice is beloved by all of his patients, who cry tears of joy whenever they hear him sing.
