He Thinks He’s Alone In A Nightclub Washroom. But Keep Your Eyes On The Mirror… OMG!

If you’ve ever been out to a nightclub or a bar, you may have seen some fairly explicit anti-drinking and driving posters in the washrooms. After all, drinking and driving remains a very real and very serious problem, with about 28 people in the US dying each day from motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver. Many of those people were completely innocent people who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. I think we can all agree that it’s a very frightening statistic and we really need to do whatever we can to stop people from making such poor and dangerous decisions.

So the folks at We Save Lives decided to take things up to another level in the fight against drinking and driving by doing something extreme.

To get their message across, We Save Lives enlisted the help of Kris Caudilla. When he was only 26-years old, Caudilla made the decision to drive while under the influence. As a result, Caudilla ended up crashing into a deputy and killing him. He was charged with a DUI and manslaughter, and he is now serving 15 years in prison.

The premise of the campaign was to allow Caudilla to speak with patrons of the bar. He starts off with a bit of small talk but quickly escalates the discussion by sharing his DUI story. By the end of it, you can easily see the dramatic impact that Caudilla’s shocking message has on the patrons. Check out the powerful video below and share this with family and friends to help spread this important message.
