Woman’s Opera Audition Switches Into A Rock And Roll Performance

The television talent show, “America’s Got Talent” has finally reached the live shows. Now, after each episode, the viewing audience can pick their favorites, and it is their votes that will determine which acts move forward from week to week. I’ve already chosen my favorites, which include a few singers, a comedian, one clown, and a very talented young ventriloquist. The truth is, there are never enough spots for all of the acts that I enjoy, and in the end, only one act can win. It is the drama of watching new talent emerge that keeps these shows fresh and interesting.

With its popular format of auditions, cuts, and finally, live finals that the audience votes on, “America’s Got Talent” has shown up all over the globe with similar talent competitions. One of those is “Spain’s Got Talent” which recently featured the audition of a young woman named Cristina Ramos.

Cristina brought her A-game to her audition. While many of the people who audition for reality talent shows are indeed talented, they may not be memorable. Potential contestants must do something to stand out to the judges and audience.

Cristina understood this concept when she planned her audition. She begins her performance with classical opera. While everyone was impressed by her beautiful voice, the audience and judges are bored and underwhelmed by the classical style. Then, everything changes. The music of “Highway to Hell” fills the auditorium and the performance changes completely. Cristina even manages a stunning on stage costume change. She shows not only her amazing classical voice and talent but that she has an edgy rock-n-roll style. Her voice is completely different for ‘Highway to Hell,’ but still fantastic! Most of all, she knew exactly how to be memorable.
