OH, how we love our pets! If it weren’t for them, a lot of people would feel alone and lost once they return from a long and hard day at work. You can always want “alone time” from some humans in your life, but never from your pet—”alone time” actually means snuggling up with your pup or kitten, isolated from everyone, and anything else, and not wanting to be disturbed.
Once you become a pet-owner, it’s only justified to say that you enter a different kind of “club”—that unspoken acknowledgment into a league of others who are lucky enough to be blessed with a canine, kitten, rabbit, snail, or whatever have you may, in your life. And as much as you appreciate your beloved companion, the same goes for them. They find ways to love you, and they may be unique, funny, or even gross means of doing so, but their love for you is inevitable.
You also become immune to everything they do—fun, or annoying. You start to have this superpower to understand exactly what your pet is saying, or trying to do, given certain gestures, behaviors, and sounds. So, for everyone that has a pet, the list below is entirely relatable, because we’re about to show you eight things only people with pets will understand!
1. Love it or hate it, but this may just be your bathroom every day.
2. When your dog is just too clingy.
3. They just want everything.
4. When they’ve got bad timing, but you’ll still sit a little longer, so they’re comfortable.
5. Sometimes, they just can’t make up their minds.
6. They have a knack for getting into sticky situations because they know you’ll always come to their rescue.
7. And you just can’t understand their constant struggle with bath time.
8. And then there are the times that you just don’t understand their logic.
