I absolutely love dogs but as any dog lover can attest to, they can be quite a messy handful. Sometimes our four-legged family members can get too excited and forget about their potty training, resulting in an accident all over your carpet. The first time this happened with my dog, I went to the pet store and bought some specialty cleaning solution that was absurdly expensive! Did it work? Yes… but I had to use about a third of the bottle to completely get rid of the stubborn stains.
But fortunately, DeeDee from Clover House has come to the rescue and figured out a better way! DeeDee’s pet stain cleaning trick is very inexpensive and uses just two very common household cleaning products.
This is all you’ll need: hydrogen peroxide and Dawn dish soap!
Mix the two ingredients in a bowl or container, and now you’re ready to start cleaning!
Scrub the mixture into the stained area using a brush, then let it sit for about half an hour.
Now take some paper towel and press it into the stained area to soak up the moisture without completely removing the cleaning solution. Once it has dried, go over the area with a vacuum. And that’s it! You should see a major difference!
