Principal Dances With High School Step Team

One of my favorite memories of time in school has to be when I was on the dance team at my local university. We would spend hours a week practicing for upcoming performances and competitions all while juggling a schedule of classes and family commitments. Of course, it takes a lot of time management and discipline, but the joy you get when you’re through with a successful dance performance is almost unmatched! The loud cheers that support you throughout each routine are always appreciated. And I know the girls in this video know exactly what I’m talking about—so does their principal!

Lake Mary High School’s step team came up with a routine for their pep rally and were all set to perform for the school, but they had a bit of a surprise for everyone who was going to be in attendance—their principal will also be joining them on stage!

Principals usually have a firm and stern persona, but it seems like this woman is not only fun, but she also has a lot of personality to add to the school’s activities! 49-year-old Dr. Donna Reynolds is the new principal at the secondary school this year and is fully aware that teens take time to warm up to someone new in charge. So she thought out of the box and joined the step team to show the school she means business!

Donna is dressed in the same uniform as the other girls and is giving her all in the high-energy performance! We loved it! The principal was taken aback by the response she got from the teens as they all got out of their seats to cheer even louder than before!

The energy in the room after the principal stepped up is contagious! Watch it for yourself in the video below and like and share this post with family and friends.
