Brinks, The Smiling Dog, Is The Happiest Pooch In New York

There are few things better than a story about a lost dog finding his forever home. There are countless stories of rescue dogs that actually “rescued” their humans, by bringing joy and positivity into their lives. Dogs come with lots of responsibilities like feeding, walking, training, and veterinary care. But, they give back so much more. They bring light and joy into our lives with wagging tails and unconditional love. They are always excited to greet us and don’t care whether we live in a fancy house or a tiny cottage. It doesn’t matter because they just want to be near us.

Even if you are not a dog owner, you are probably familiar with the happiness they bring along with their presence, loyalty, and sometimes, a cheerful smile.

Brinks is a unique Pit Bull who just happens to smile like a human — it’s charming and adorable. Brinks was found on the sidewalk in New York. The man who found him spent two months hanging “Lost Dog” signs and trying to locate his owner. But, no one came forward, and Brinks was able to find his real home with the man who rescued him.

Jon, Brinks’ “accidental” owner, shared the story of the first moment they met. “I think I first discovered Brinks could smile the very first day I found him. I’d thrown him in the car, and he got into the front seat and just kind of made himself at home. I really didn’t want to get a second dog, but as soon as I saw him smiling at the world passing by my car, it pretty much was a non-decision. The best decision I made.”

Brinks is now 12-years-old, and he’s happy to show you his adorable smile whenever he’s given the opportunity. So, click on the link below and don’t miss yours!
