If you live in a big city, you know how cold people can be. People tend to keep to themselves and mind their own business. Any attempts at being friendly with strangers are often perceived as being “weird” because that’s just the way things are. You accept this behaviour as the social norm and simply get used to it. So that’s why I really love stories about strangers coming together and bond for a common purpose. And in this particular case, it was to help save a hapless and frightened dog.
Dogs are a curious and mischievous bunch. They love to explore, letting their senses guide them. Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to them finding themselves in some very dangerous situations.
In the video below, we see a young dog who somehow made its way down a steep and slippery slope, into rushing water and is unable to get out. It’s not clear how long the dog has been trapped but fortunately, a few people spot the scared animal and they decide to work as a team. It isn’t long before other passer-bys see what’s going on and join in.
One of the men goes all the way down to the water to hang on to the dog and ensure his safety. But getting back up would be a major challenge. So the strangers work together to come up with a brilliant solution: form a human chain! It takes a few tries before they get it right because the wall is so steep and slippery but they eventually get it right!
