Truer words have never been spoken. Dogs have been man’s best friend for pretty much forever, and if you’ve ever had a dog in your life then it’s easy to understand why. Sure, they might chew up your shoes and leave a stinky mess all over your carpet, but there’s really nothing like the feeling of coming home to a dog whose happiness can barely be contained the very moment he or she sees you, even if you were only gone for fifteen minutes. You can always count on them to be there for you and love you even when you’re at your worst. Their loyalty and devotion are second to none. And I think it goes without saying that they’re also insanely adorable.
When it comes to dog photos, I can’t help but say “awwww” a lot as it is, but these photos of Lilica, a proud Dachshund mama, and her puppies are just off-the-charts adorable. I should mention that it’s impossible to look at these photos without your heart melting. It’s just science…
