It’s that time of year again! There are pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and haunted houses everywhere. The scent of pumpkin spice lattes, and pumpkin spice everything else follows me wherever I go. Note: I don’t actually like pumpkin spice lattes (I know, the HORROR) but I do enjoy the spicy, sweet smell. Carefully carved jack-o-lanterns are appearing on front porches, fake spider webs adorn nearly shrub in every front yard, and giant, inflatable witches, and ghosts wave at passers-by from front yards. Children and adults alike are spending hours meticulously planning elaborate costumes for trick-or-treating and Halloween parties. Halloween is just around the corner and if you’re anything like me, it’s the best holiday time of year.
