With the hot summer weather in full swing for many of us, it’s important for us to remember to NEVER leave our dogs in a hot car. Even if you think you’re just going to be a few minutes, it’s incredibly dangerous for your furry family member. Too many people plead ignorance so NFL star Tyrann Mathieu took up the challenge of raising awareness by seeing for himself what it’s like to be trapped in a hot car. [googlead]The Arizona Cardinals player nearly passed out after 8 minutes! Can you imagine how your dog would feel (with all that fur, no less)? Tyrann has some wise words for all of us: “If you are going to make a dog a part of your family, then make him part of your family. Don’t treat him like you wouldn’t treat someone you care about or someone you love.” Kudos to you, Mr. Mathieu.
