Children Sing “When You Believe” To Pay Tribute To WWII Veterans

There are people in this world who have made it their sole purpose to serve and protect others. Professions such as policemen and women, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and those belonging to the army deserve medals for their active contribution to the well-being and safety of others.

And today, we are going to pay a massive tribute to the soldiers of WWII with a video performed by One Voice Children’s Choir. These children, who are based in northern Utah, worked tirelessly to create a chilling music video singing the popular song, “When You Believe” by Steve Schwartz.

This mesmerizing video takes place at Omaha Beach and the Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial in Normandy, France, and it shows a group of talented children dressed in smart dresses and suits. Then, they begin to sing the song with passion and poise. It is evident that they feel the intense emotions that come with an event of this nature.

The song is sung in English, Hebrew, and French and has been such a great tribute to WWII’s fallen veterans, that the video has been viewed almost two million times on YouTube. In fact, one user wrote an incredibly moving comment that reads,

“This was a stunningly beautiful tribute to those who lost their lives in the war and to their loved ones who went on living without them. At 2:20 into the video, a cross is shown with the name Francis E. Cazayoux Jr. I looked him up on Google and found the soldier instantly. He was born in 1882, which means he died at 62 years old in August of 1944. He was single at the time of his death with no dependents. It was a moving experience to find him, one soul, out of so many who lost everything. Here I sit at my computer 73 years later peering into a minute portion of this man’s life. I said a prayer for him.”

What a spine-chilling comment and extraordinary performance!
