Grandma Dances Along To Her Favorite Song In Her Kitchen

You’re never too old to move and groove. You can be a little kid and love music and dance to the point that you’ve perfected the routine. Or, you can be a senior who can’t help but shake a leg to your favorite song. The art of enjoying yourself applies to everyone and it’s the best thing that you can do for your body and soul.

Before you see the video below that is so adorably hilarious it’ll make you laugh out loud, let us give thanks to the advancement of technology. Let’s think about how much better our lives are today given the fact that nearly every moment can be captured on video—especially this one! Have you given thanks? Good… moving swiftly along.

You see, Clara Rossi, a 74-year-old grandmother, surely knows how to light up a dance floor, even if a dance floor isn’t actually a dance floor but rather a kitchen floor. One afternoon, she was hanging out with her grandson, listening to the radio when her favorite song, “La Pollera Amarilla” by Gladys, began to play. Just then, she zooms around vivaciously, with a huge smile on her face, skirt swaying with every step.

The twist? She, at first, didn’t know that her grandson, Joaquin Etcheverry, was recording the entire thing. The even bigger twist? When she finds out he is recording her, she simply does not care! She continues to do her thing and shake her hips to the sound of the music. Some may even argue that she could give a couple of folks a run for their money! You go, girl!

If only we all had as much confidence as the talented Clara! If anything, the video teaches us to dance to the beat of our own drum and to not give a damn about what other people think. Who knows, by doing so you may just end up going completely viral! Wouldn’t that be fun?!

Do you like to shake a leg when your song comes on, regardless of where you are? Which tune do you like the most? Tell us in the comments, we’d love to hear from you!
