Let’s face it; no one likes to be told what to do. I think it’s just natural instinct to think that someone’s who’s telling you do something thinks that they’re the boss of you. I know I’m guilty of thinking that. Everyone has a different reaction to whatever may make them mad, and we’re glad that someone recorded the cockatoo in the video below, reacting to something that had it furious!
Pebble, the cockatoo, has been lived in 10 homes over the last 20 years. This isn’t normal for cockatoos, and they sure don’t like the change in environment because they want to bond with just one person/place throughout their lives; wherever Pebble has gone, that home has probably had different rules from the previous one, and there’s nothing the birdie can do but adjust. Right? Well, I think we’re wrong!
Watch below to see how Pebble disregards being asked to go back into her cage. She not only refuses, but she puts up a hilarious argument that has everyone in stitches! The bird is quite vocal about not wanting to go back into the cage, and you can even make out the argument that she’s putting up.
For anyone who doesn’t know, cockatoos are very smart animals, picking up on phrases and words that are spoken around them. So if you have any deep dark secrets, we encourage you not to talk about them in the company of your pet cockatoo because the bird is sure to repeat what you’ve said in its company.
You may also want to be forewarned that this little birdie seems to have a bit of a potty mouth, so you will be hearing her express her rage with a few swear words. But, it is too funny to miss, and you can’t even get mad at her!
