There are a whole lot of commercials that come on TV every single day. Although there may be ones that are your favorite because they’re funny, or because they play your favorite song in the background, I think it’s safe to say that seldom there are commercials that are meaningful. But there’s one company over the years that has made it a point to come up with creative, yet impactful, commercials for it’s consumers.
Budweiser is best know for two things—their drinks and their TV ads. Now there may be some of their ads that are more fun and frolic, but if you’re an avid TV watcher, we’re sure you have come across some amazing ads by this brand, ones that blow you away for how meaningful they really are.
Everyone knows about the ad that was only aired for one day before it was taken down—the one in which the brand decided to pay tribute to 9/11, and because they didn’t want to profit from the commercial, the company decided to just air it for a day. That’s a beautiful and heartwarming gesture. This commercial is also a fan favorite.
Another one that’s touched the hearts of millions of viewers around the world is the one that’s shared below. In the commercial, you see a dog and his owner being the bestest of friends. One night the young man goes out with his friends, leaving the dog home alone. The dog patiently waits for the owner to come back but in the first scene, the owner doesn’t return. This scene recreates the harsh reality for many people who wait for their loved ones to come home after a night out, and they don’t because they’re victims of drinking and driving. Something that NO ONE should ever do.
But, the commercial has a happy ending—the young man returns to his pup in the morning saying he decided not to drive home and instead stayed over at a friend’s place. And their little family is complete again.
