Though he’s been associated with tons of famous musicians and actors, has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and was even a touring member of the Beach Boys, Glen Campbell’s most famous work is the song “Rhinestone Cowboy”. [googlead]The song continues to be a recognizable pop culture fixture, even today. Glen suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and is an outspoken advocate for both patients and caregivers and was part of a documentary titled “Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me”, chronicling his life with the disease.

Ashley Campbell is Glen’s daughter, and a talented musician in her own right. She wrote and performed “Remembering” about her father’s battle with Alzheimer’s. With her lovely voice, poignant lyrics, and a video full of clips of genuine Campbell family home videos, the song and her performance is heartfelt and bittersweet. “We can talk until you can’t even remember my name. Daddy don’t you worry, I’ll do the remembering.” Truly beautiful.
