If you could remember what it was like to be a tiny infant, you’d probably recall that you became extremely attached to those who took care of you and those who you saw on a regular basis. This is, of course, entirely normal, as you’re still figuring out your surroundings and how to live this weird thing called life.
So, when someone that an infant has become accustomed to changes their appearance quite significantly, it’s safe to say that he or she would be somewhat confused. And even though we don’t know exactly what they’re thinking, we can assume that they either believe that a new person has entered their line of vision or that the person they’ve come to know and love, has gone through a weird transition which makes them super uncomfortable.
I remember going through this as a young infant. Not so much with my mom’s hair, but more so with my dad’s thick beard! I was traumatized, but thankfully, this is a little more lighthearted and quite honestly, downright hysterical. This baby girl is a total trip and watching her will make you burst out laughing in no time, no doubt!
In the video below, you’ll see these notions, in action. A 9-month-old baby was hanging out in her crib when her mother came home from a hair appointment—one which resulted in her having some pretty big curls. And while she was pleased with the final result, her baby, however, was not.
You’ll see the cutie have a long, hard stare at her mother for a bit, displaying a confused facial expression, then a smile. Then suddenly, as mom starts to talk, the little one starts to burst into tears. The poor thing had no idea what was happening, that’s for sure! Not to worry though, mama bear picked her up and calmed her down immediately after! I love these types of videos. A child’s innocence is just so heartwarming. Everything is new to them as they try to navigate the world.
