Oh, the joys of motherhood… pretty much anything and everything your baby does is yet another precious moment. From making cute and funny noises while they sleep to wide-eyed giggling at silly things, babies are the very definition of adorable. I know this not because I’ve had a baby of my own but rather because I have friends who recently became mothers and fathers. Accordingly, my social media feeds are completely filled with updates of these “precious moments.”
While I share in their excitement, I think we can all agree that sometimes people can let their personal biases get in the way of looking at things a bit more objectively. So I’m just going to say it: not everything your baby does is cute. And today, we’re going to prove it.
In the video below, a sweet, trusting dog is just sleeping on the couch, minding his own business. But he’s not on the couch alone… sitting up against him is a baby! Super adorable right? WRONG! You see, this baby needs to go #2. Mom picks up on the signs of this, but she takes on an “if you gotta go, you gotta go” kind of attitude so she encourages her baby to just take care of business right there and then. Her baby’s wearing diapers so that’s fine and all, except that poor dog is well within the stink blast radius. And the thing about dogs is that, depending on the breed, their sense of smell is about 1,000 to 10,000,000 times more sensitive than that of a human.
So check out the video below and watch the dog’s reaction just as the baby completely rocks his world. Not a fun way to wake up.
