But could you imagine having the luxury of a pool that resembles a lake in your back garden? For Jerry and Marina Leussink of Sundre, Alberta, Canada, that dream has become a reality.
The couple got to work in 2013 with the vision of having a man-made pool with 317,000 gallons of water inside. Now, they’ve decided to share their insanely creative and beautiful creation with the Internet, and people are completely swooning.
The pool comes with surrounding sand and all of the appropriate summer toys that anyone could ask for. They’ve also decorated the space with an outside table and chairs for everyone to enjoy. The specs? Length: 90 feet, width: 70 feet, depth: 14 feet. Then, when winter rolls around, the couple has made it so that they can use the space for ice skating. Now that’s what I call innovative thinking, am I right?
The total cost saw the Leussink’s dish out around $15,00o and is being managed appropriately with the use of chlorine and a pumping system. With that, the couple can enjoy a fantastic summer or winter’s day alongside close friends and family beside the stunning pool.
