For anyone whose loved one has been ill, or is struggling with something severe, it’s understandable how hard it can be to watch them fight through all the impairments illnesses can cause. It’s truly a blessing to have family and friends around who will look after those in need and provide the kind of love that can actually heal.
Duffy the dog is an example of a pet that needed love, care, along with proper treatment, during his time of need. Duffy lost his eye sight and became blind after he was diagnosed with diabetes. His family though was able to control the disease through medication and this allowed for doctors to perform surgery on the pup, to restore his eyesight.
The video shared in this post shows the reactions both the family members and Duffy have soon after his surgery. The family is beyond happy to have their dog come out of the medical procedure fully cured, but the canine himself is ecstatic to see his family—his actions say it all.
Once Duffy enters the room, he doesn’t know which of his family members to turn to first. He nuzzles, and excitedly greets, everyone in the room and you can see that excitement is oozing out of him after being able to see again. His reaction is completely fair, given that he hasn’t seen his family in months! He’s wagging his tail and shaking uncontrollably in happiness!
Watch how he frantically looks around to take in everything he may have missed since the last time he was able to see.
