Bride’s Autistic Brother Melts Hearts With Beautiful Disney Song And Has Everyone In Tears

I remember planning my wedding and wanting all of my loved ones to be involved in the big day. My husband was the same. For us, it was important to everyone feel like they’re important and appreciated during the day that meant so much to the two of us. So, one of the first things we did, after setting the date and figuring out venue details, was assign all the family members specific roles.

My niece was the flower girl, while my nephew would come into the venue holding a welcome sign before the bridal party made their entrance. My husband’s brother was responsible for standing close by and making sure that everything was spot on, on the groom’s outfit. I won’t list all the responsibilities people had, but it’s safe to say that everyone that was special to us, had a role to play.

Everyone has someone that they hold dear to their heart. It could be a sibling, a parent, a best friend, or even someone in your extended family. It doesn’t matter who that person is, as long as they manage to encourage you to be the best person you can be, and help you to be inspired and happy during tough times and beyond.

For Jen Santamaria, that person is her brother, Jesse Marcus. You see, these two siblings are super close, and have been that way since childhood. For that reason, Jen wanted to include Jesse in her wedding day in some shape or form. But this proved to be quite difficult, as Jesse is living with autism, which affects his ability to speak freely and openly.

Then, Jen began to think outside of the box. She knew that Jesse adored music and for that reason, asked him if he would be happy to sing a song at her wedding, which took place at sunset on a beach in California. Jesse was extremely excited by the thought, and began practicing his singing six months before the big day! And when the day finally came, he definitely delivered!

Jesse stood before Jen and her fiancé, who is also named Jesse, and sang the beautiful song of Elton John, “Can You Feel The Love Tonight.” And with that, there was not a single dry eye at the beloved ceremony. Many agreed that his performance was simply magical, and it’s safe to say that he added a stunning touch to an already perfect day!
