We all have our favorite songs—tunes that we listen to cheer us up on a bad day, or just something that’s a must-have on our playlist while we wait in traffic on our way home from each night. Whatever song it may be, it will always bring a smile to your face, and things are no different with the little girl in the video below.
Baby Violet is hanging out with mom and dad when dad decides to sing a couple of songs—2 very specific songs. One of them is a nursery rhyme, and the other is his rendition of Lion King’s ‘Circle of Life.’ Can you guess which one is her favorite?
Normally we would associate the Lion King with children and presume that ‘Circle of Life’ is inevitably the baby’s favorite—we’re wrong. Watch what happens when dad sings the catchy nursery rhyme to Violet. She’s ecstatic. Then comes the test of her true dislike for the second song, and her father forewarns her about it.
As soon as he begins to sing his version of ‘Circle of Life’ the little girl is in tears. She is sobbing at the sound of the classic number, and her parents can’t help but laugh. I think this is the first time I’ve heard a child hate anything about the Lion King and it’s quite shocking.
