On the morning of January 10th, the legendary British artist David Bowie lost his battle with cancer. This comes only two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his critically acclaimed album, Blackstar. Bowie had been secretly battling for cancer for 18 months. Only his family and closest friends knew about this illness. His wife, Iman, his son, Duncan Jones, and his daughter, Alexandria Zahra Jones, were at his bedside in New York when he passed away peacefully.
