A mother spent several days in a hospital with her 9-month old baby in Canberra, Australia. It was a very difficult time for her and when she finally left the hospital, she approached her car only to find a parking ticket on her windshield (likely from parking her car for too long). The mother knew that the fine would be very high but when she took a closer look, she found a note attached to the ticket. [googlead]The note was left by a stranger who decided that enough was enough for this poor lady, so they took matters into their own hands. After reading the note, the mother was so happy that she posted a photo of it in a Facebook group called “Canberra Moms.” You can see the note here:
In case you are having trouble reading it, the note says: “Hello, I saw your car had a parking ticket on the windshield. I’m sure whatever you are going through at [the] hospital is tough enough so I have paid for you. […] Hope things get better!”
What a wonderful gesture that really helps us restore our faith in humanity. It’s no wonder that this picture went viral!
