Despite the difficult life with her parents, Jamie’s own marriage is one to be envied. But meeting her husband didn’t go very smoothly at first. When Jamie told her friend that she was “going to marry that man” referring to Guest, her friend Debra said she knew his agent. So the following day, Jamie called Guest’s agent and gave him her number. She asked him to have Chris give her a call if he was interested. Chris didn’t call.
It was much later on that the pair spotted each other at a restaurant. They waved to each other but didn’t actually speak. The next day, Chris called Jamie and they set up their first date!
8. She is Jake Gyllenhaal’s godmother.
Jamie is close friends with Jake’s parents, director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner.
9. She loves playing World of Warcraft.
As it turns out, Jamie is a huge gamer! She enjoys infiltrating gaming and comic events in costume so that she can avoid detection. Here she is in her World of Warcraft Forsake costume for BlizzCon.

10. She is a recovered alcoholic.
Jamie has been sober since 1999 and she’s said that the recovery has been the greatest achievement of her life.
