It’s Been 2 YEARS Since He Last Saw His Brother. Now Watch Who Surprises Him In The Bleachers…

Ah family. If you have siblings you know how it is to have a brother or a sister. There is always some kind of sibling rivalry, even if it’s all in good fun and with lots of love. There will be some small quarrel about who gets that last cookie or who gets to go on the trampoline first. That’s just the way it tends to be.

However, Bailey and Meyers Leonard are not your typical brothers. These two brothers had to endure extreme hardships that most people never had to after they lost their father at a very young age. The brothers along with their mother had very limited means. The family lived in a home without furniture, running water, and electricity. They slept at night on the ground with candles around them for warmth and light.

Throughout the years, Bailey, the older brother, despite being only 22 months older had to become a fatherly figure to his younger brother Meyers. The brothers formed an incredible bond but in 2008, Bailey left to become a US Marine and spent time in Afghanistan. This was the first time that the brothers had ever been separated and Meyers was absolutely devastated.

But two years later, Bailey was able to surprise his little brother at the University of Illinois. As Meyers was getting ready to play a college basketball game against Michigan, his brother came in to give him a big surprise. Watch the video below and get ready to see the emotional reunion.
