Mom Dumps Macaroni In Her Slow Cooker To Make This DELICIOUS 5-Ingredient Feast For The Kids!

When it comes to quick and easy comfort foods, one of my absolute favourites is macaroni and cheese. But I have to admit that when it comes to macaroni and cheese, that pretty much means Kraft Dinner in my household. And while I love Kraft Dinner as much as the next person, sometimes you want to step things up and get away from the powdered stuff. [googlead]But how do you make “real” macaroni and cheese? It turns out that it’s actually incredibly easy and the results are totally worth it! Instructions

  1. Add half of your cooked macaroni to the slow cooker.
  2. Add a layer of cubed cheese and butter, add the remaining cooked macaroni, and then add one more layer of cubed cheese and butter. Use any cheese you’d like. In the video, he uses colby and Monterey Jack cheeses, and Velveeta.
  3. Put the lid on and let it cook for about two hours, occasionally stirring and adding milk until it’s complete.
